The FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7270 is much more than a wireless ADSL2+ router: it is a VoIP, ISDN and analog PBX, even serving as a base station for up to 6 cordless telephones in high-definition quality.
Equipped with MIMO technology and 2.4 or 5 GHz support, its 3 antennas transmit data at up to 300 Mbit/s brutto linkspeed, so you can enjoy high-definition multimedia streaming and make phone calls at the same time. The WLAN connection is pre-encrypted to the highest standard (WPA2), and in combination with the FRITZ!WLAN USB Stick, the connection is already set up - so there is no need for user configuration. The USB 2.0 high-speed host port allows printers, storage media and audio-visual material to be shared throughout the entire network. A wide range of helpful convenience features are accessible to all connected PCs. Also, free software updates help users upgrade their communication equipment. Two analog extensions support VoIP or fixed line telephony and fax machines even when the computer is off. AVM's efficient traffic
shaping permits multiple phone calls and high Web traffic; thus, four computers or other network devices have simultaneous Internet access at ADSL2+ speed.
The pre-configured firewall and port forwarding features guarantee safe surfing. And by simply pressing a button, the WLAN connection can be enabled and disabled. FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7270 features comprehensive software. This includes a telephone book, integrated answering machine, fax reception, WLAN sleep mode, child protection and VPN.
