The ARC series (Automotive Radiofrequency Connectors) is a range of RF connectors which meet the requirements of automotive electronics in the fields of telematics, multimedia, safety and security. ARC connectors are compatible with the DIN 72594-1 (FAKRA)and SAE/USCAR-18 standard. The design of the connector interface is based on the proven SMB standard but includes an additional plastic housing. This housing contains a mechanical locking device which prevents disconnect in high vibration environments. The Huber+Suhner cable- and PCB connectors are space- and weight-saving and they offer 13 codings, with a mechanical and colour identification to prevent misconnection.
To assure high product quality and performance, the Huner+Suhner processes for the development, manufacturing and marketing of RF automotive components are certified according to ISO TS16949.
